Free Rides for Solo Parents on MRT-3 in Celebration of Solo Parents' Day

April 19, 2020 - In celebration of Solo Parents' Day, the Manila Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will be offering free rides to single parents on April 20.

The free rides, dubbed as "LIBRENG SAKAY," will be available during peak hours of the line's operation, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the said day. To avail of the free rides, single parents only need to present a valid solo parent's ID to the station personnel.

"We salute all solo parents who tirelessly sacrifice to provide for their children. It is our wish that through our free rides, we can bring joy to them on their special day. We hope to convey our admiration and appreciation for their sacrifices to all solo parents," said Transportation Assistant Secretary for Railways and MRT-3 Officer-in-Charge Jorjette B. Aquino.
